H2Bay Event

Electric Horse™ Strengthens Industry Connections at H2Bay Expo 2026

Electric Horse™ exhibited at H2Bay Expo 2026 at Bay Studios in Swansea, joining businesses, innovators and industry leaders from across the hydrogen and renewable energy sectors for a day focused on the future of clean energy in the UK.

Representing Electric Horse™ at the event were Liam Davies, Director, James McLeod, Head of Supply Chain and Programme Delivery, and Aidan Harries, Sales and Marketing Apprentice, who spent the day promoting Electric Horse™’s energy solutions, engaging with industry stakeholders and discussing the challenges and opportunities shaping the UK’s clean energy transition.

The event was hosted by Hyppo Hydrogen Solutions, part of the wider H2Bay initiative, which aims to bring together hydrogen focused businesses, infrastructure and innovation to accelerate the growth of the hydrogen economy in South Wales and beyond.

Throughout the day, the Electric Horse™ team had the opportunity to connect with organisations from across the transport, energy and business support sectors, generating several promising new opportunities and follow up conversations.

Among the organisations engaging with Electric Horse™ were representatives from Transport for Wales (TfW), international logistics company NYK Group, and Business Wales, highlighting the growing interest in renewable energy, energy storage and sustainable infrastructure solutions across a wide range of industries.

The event showcased a diverse range of technologies, from hydrogen-powered transport solutions from the likes of Toyota to innovative renewable energy generation – for example Powerhouse energy group’s systems developed to extract hydrogen from industrial waste. Discussions throughout the day reinforced the increasing momentum behind low-emission technologies as businesses continue to explore ways to improve energy security while progressing towards a cleaner future for all.

The location itself was a fitting venue for the event. Located at Bay Studios on Fabian Way, the site lies on the former Ford manufacturing facility and has become a hub for innovation, business growth and emerging technologies in the wider South Wales area. Its transformation reflects the wider shift taking place across the UK, as traditional industrial locations evolve to support the industries of the future.

“Events such as H2Bay Expo demonstrate the growing level of collaboration taking place across the energy sector,” said Liam Davies, Director at Electric Horse™. “At Electric Horse, we are committed to working with partners across the public and private sectors to align clean, renewable energy solutions with the needs of industry, helping businesses reduce emissions, strengthen energy resilience and support sustainable growth.”

As organisations continue to navigate rising energy costs, net-zero targets and increasing demand for energy security, Electric Horse™ remains committed to helping businesses identify and implement solutions that deliver long-term financial and environmental benefits.

We would like to thank Hyppo Hydrogen Solutions and the wider H2Bay team for delivering a successful event and providing an excellent platform for collaboration within the renewable energy and hydrogen sectors.
